Erico Jose Souza carried his postdoctoral studies in History of Staging from Université Paris 3 – Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris (2007-2009) with internships in Theatrical Biomechanics at Meyerhold International Center for Theatrical Biomechanics in Perugia-Italy and Senior Internship at Université Paris 8 – Vincennes-Saint-Denis (2015-2016) on transculturality in the pedagogy of mask work at the Jacques Lecoq School/Paris, with a one-year internship at the Jacques Lecoq International Theater School-Paris. He is an associate professor II at UFBA and has worked in Staging and Actor Directing/ Preparation, Spectacularity, Physical Theatre, Mask, Meyerhold Theatrical Biomechanics. He is the author of A roda do mundo gira: um olhar sobre o Cavalo Marinho Estrela de Ouro (Condado-PE), by SESC – Pernambuco and the organizer of Tradição e Contemporaneidade na Cena do Cavalo Marinho, by PPGAC-UFBA.
