The group carries out research, promotes publications, conducts experiments and montages focusing on contemporary acting and staging poetics.

Repercussion

The group research are: A cena implodida no teatro de Brecht (2011); Ator-Contador e Ator-Mostrador (2012); Estudo das ações físicas na construção da cena (2013), and Procedimentos audiovisuais na dramaturgia épica de Brecht (2014). Among the plays, based on the research, the following ones stand out: Meu nome é mentira, Bonitinha, mas ordinária and As velhas, whose processes were the object of analysis of master theses of members of the group. In 2011, the group promoted the Seminar Encenações de Brecht na Bahia, with the participation of Professor Dr. Luiz Fernando Ramos (ECA-USP). In 2012, the book “Harildo Déda, a matéria dos sonhos”, by Luiz Marfuz (coordinator of the group) and Raimundo Leão, was released. Marfuz publishes some books: “Beckett e a implosão da cena: poética teatral e estratégias de encenação” under the publishing company Perspectiva (2014); the play “Senhora dos Infiéis”, under the publishing of Edufba (2015), and the book “Dramaturgia do acontecimento no telejornal: a emoção no palco da notícia” under the publishing company Edufba (2017).
