A Somática e as Artes da Cena: fricções da experiência e sua influência no Ensino Superior e na Cultura Contemporânea

Revista quadrimestral editada pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Artes Cênicas da Universidade Federal da Bahia.

Editada pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Artes Cênicas da Universidade Federal da Bahia, a revista Repertório abre chamada para o Dossiê: A Somática e as Artes da Cena: fricções da experiência e sua influência no Ensino Superior e na Cultura Contemporânea.

Os trabalhos devem ser submetidos de 24/março a 20/maio de 2018, através do portal SEER (https://portalseer.ufba.br/).

O presente número dedica-se ao campo da Somática que se funda na percepção do corpo sob a perspectiva da experiência vivida, o que nos leva a especular como esta mudança paradigmática se dá a perceber no Ensino e na Pesquisa das Artes Cênicas, chegando mesmo a influenciar a cultura contemporânea. Conceitos chave, modos de criação, produção e difusão de práticas Performativas Contemporâneas em sua diversidade cultural serão explorados, bem como a gênese de sua construção histórica e a disseminação dos saberes somáticos em paralelo aos contextos geográficos, tanto específicos, como globais.

Considerando as interações entre as práticas somáticas e a cena contemporânea, bem como a expansão do campo da somática entre o ensino e a pesquisa nas duas últimas décadas no Brasil e no mundo, esta chamada busca acolher trabalhos que considerem o conhecimento acumulado sobre o tema para tecer novas proposições e reflexões sobre a intrincada rede de saberes contemplada entre as seguintes linhas temáticas:

● A expansão global das práticas somáticas: genealogia das pesquisas do movimento consciente e disseminação da Educação Somática no mundo e no Brasil.● O desenvolvimento do campo da Somática sob o ponto vista histórico: os movimentos da Cultura do corpo que fomentaram o desenvolvimento da Dança e da Somática.

● A formação de corpos cênicos na Dança, no Teatro e na Performance afetados pela disseminação das práticas somáticas. Temas relacionados à subjetividade, Identidade, gênero, narrativas pessoais que emergem da experiência vivida, do conhecimento corporalizado. Exploração de movimentos através do uso de imagens, toque, voz, tecnologia como meio de estimular a criação e expandir as reflexões sobre a indissociabilidade da interação corpo/mente;

● Institucionalização do Campo Somático: como a Somática tem se afirmado nos cursos superiores de Dança e Teatro nas últimas décadas em nível global, trazendo a renovação de processos pedagógicos e formativos e provocando transformações nas relações interpessoais;

● A Pesquisa Performativa que tem na prática do corpo sua principal fonte de conhecimento e vem se expandindo na renovação de processos e na produção de novas metodologias e epistemologias.

● Somática e Mundialização, ou seja, a influência de práticas e filosofias orientais promotoras da diversidade cultural demonstra a validade dos valores somáticos e ético-espirituais para a humanidade Contemporânea.

● Pedagogias do Ser e do Devir, auto aperfeiçoamento, aplicações terapêuticas, representação corporal e interação social: impacto da Educação Somática na formação do indivíduo sensível e atuante na sociedade.

● Os Saberes Somáticos e as Ciências, validação de suas práticas face aos avanços das Neurociências, sem deixar de considerar a problematização de seus argumentos, definições e objetivos que têm sido alvo de um posicionamento crítico por parte de alguns teóricos e comentadores.

Os textos podem ser submetidos para as seguintes seções:

● Em foco: textos que abordem conteúdos relativos à temática central do número a ser publicado

● Persona: textos desenvolvidos em torno de uma personalidade das artes cênicas. Podem ou não estar vinculados ao tema central do número.

● Repertório livre: textos com temática à escolha do autor, independente do tema central do número.
Artigos que estejam fora das normas de publicação da revista não serão aceitos.

Issue dedicated to the Somatic Field that is based on the perception of the body from the perspective of the lived experience, with the intention of speculating how this paradigmatic change can be perceived in the Teaching and Research of the Performing Arts, even extending its influence to the Contemporary Culture. Key concepts, modes of creation, production and diffusion of Contemporary Performative practices in their cultural diversity will be explored, as well as the genesis and historical construction of somatic knowledge in parallel to specific and global geographic contexts.

Considering the interactions between the somatic practices and the contemporary performing arts scene, as well as the expansion of the somatic field through teaching and research in the last two decades in Brazil and worldwide, this call aims to embrace papers that consider the accumulated knowledge about the theme and weave new propositions and reflections about the intricate web of scholarships approached amongst the following thematic lines:

● The global expansion of somatic practices: a genealogy of the related researches about the conscious movement and dissemination of Somatic Education in the world and in Brazil;

● The development of the Somatic Field from the historical point of view: the movements of Physical Cultures that fomented the development of Dance and Somatic;

● The manufacturing of a stage body for Dance, Theater and Performance work affected by the dissemination of the Somatic Field. Issues related to subjectivity, identity, gender, personal narratives, emerge from lived experience, from embodied knowledge. Movement explorations

with imagery, touch, voice and technology as a way of expanding reflections about the inseparability of body-mind relationship;

● Institutionalization of the Somatic Field: how Somatics has affirmed itself in graduate and undergraduate programs of Dance and Theater through the last decades in global level, bringing the renewal of training and pedagogical processes, and promoting transformations in different interpersonal relationships.

● Performative Research, which concentrates itself in the body as its main source of knowledge, and has been expanding itself through the renovation of processes and the production of new methodologies and epistemologies;

● Somatics and Globalization, that is, the influence of Eastern practices and philosophies that promote cultural diversity demonstrate the validity of somatic, ethic and spiritual values for contemporary humanity;

● Pedagogies of Being and Becoming, self improvement, therapeutic applications, corporeal representation and social interaction: impact of Somatic Education on the formation of sensitive and active individuals in society;

● The Somatic Knowledge and the Sciences, validating their practices in the quest of the advances of Neuroscience, while considering the problematization of their arguments, definitions and objectives that have been the target of a critical positioning by some theorists and commentators.
Papers might be submitted for the following sections:

● In focus: texts that approach subjects concerned to the central theme of the issue to be published;

● Persona: texts developed around one personality of the Performing Arts filed. May be or not connected to the central issue theme;

● Free Repertório: texts concerning themes chosen by the authors, independent of the main issue theme.

Articles must follow the journal’s publication standards in order to be accepted.

Mission:

The Journal Repertory of the Graduate Program in Performing Arts – PPGAC has the mission to encourage transdisciplinary reflections with an emphasis on contemporary thinking. Its focus is in the field of Performing Arts in dialogue with other fields of knowledge with predominance in the fronts of production of thinking-making in art, fostering and strengthening Ibero-American relations, as encompassing contributions from the North and Northeast regions of Brazil. Hence, it seeks to discuss not only Mainstream reflection, but above all, mythic and poetic narratives that reflect the local realities of our country, thus meeting the world cultural diversity.
